In short, if we fail to protect these stalwart Members, liberal Democrats will almost certainly take control of the House of Representatives in November. And as bad as the RINO's influence is on Republican leadership on this issue, a Democrat-controlled House would be far, far worse!A Democrat led House would offer blanket amnesty to the estimated 13 million illegal immigrants already here in America. It would halt all efforts to build a fence on our borders. And it would encourage tens of millions more illegal aliens to sneak across our already dangerously open borders.
We can also send a strong message to Republican candidates coast-to-coast that securing our borders is a winning issue . . . and build a stronger and tougher pro-border security Congress in the process!
And make no mistake: We will do all this because we must.
You and I now have a President, a Senate majority, and far too many in Congress on record as willing to leave our borders wide open and unsecured. Worse, they are openly seeking to reward 13 million illegal alien lawbreakers with all the benefits of U.S. citizenship.
They won't call it amnesty, but I will -- because it is! That's the message I've been taking across the country as the leader of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps, the nation's original volunteer border patrol group.

Leading the charge are millions of Americans who refuse to stand by while the illegal alien invasion imperils our security, destroys our sovereignty, and bankrupts our nation. Members of Congress who insist on amnesty instead of REAL border security must pay the price come Election Day.
Those who stand up for border security must be rewarded. It's just that simple. When Members of Congress take office, they swear an oath to protect and defend the Constitution. At its most basic level the oath demands that our elected representatives must secure American territory at our borders.
On this there can be no compromise . . . and that's why the Minuteman Political Action Committee was founded.
We are growing every day. And we are not beholden to any political party. We support candidates who are pro-border security. Period. However, we know that a shift in the majority of Congress from Republican to Democrat will greatly endanger our borders and -- consequently -- our lives!
But our efforts are quickly making a difference.
In little more than a year, our direct communications with pro-border security activists have exploded to 500,000 households. This includes over 8,500 volunteers answering the call to become trained Minuteman Volunteers, and come to the border to assist in Minuteman mobilizations.
Many have taken part in our well-known citizens' watch along the Arizona, California, New Mexico and Texas borders, alerting the Border Patrol as illegal aliens -- by the legions -- are sighted.
More volunteers have even begun building border fences on private property -- without asking permission from the Mexican government. It's a hands-on approach forced upon citizens by the federal government's total failure to halt the illegal alien invasions.
The next step is to start electing a Congress that will take seriously the need for genuine border security by our government. And again, the first step to doing so is by rewarding those who have already proven they are on America's side by opposing amnesty and promoting a border fence.
The 26 Members listed above in this email fit this bill. But more must be done. And believe me, we are doing much, much more.
